Modified on Thu, 19 Oct, 2023 at 8:34 PM

Depending on your programming skills, you can choose JavaScript or HTML to configure the widget.

JavaScript

  • Choose this code if you have coding knowledge.

  • JavaScript code is a programming language that enables websites to execute different tasks. Most third-party widgets and tracking codes are written in JavaScript, so almost all platforms support JavaScript on their websites.

  • You can add the widget to the pages you select using a JavaScript code snippet you create using ArtPlacer’s widget generator.

  • Using JavaScript gives the developer complete control over how, where, and when to install the widget.

HTML

  • Choose this code if you have minimum coding knowledge.

  • HTML is a universal coding language used for web pages.

  • Using HTML is a good option if you have some knowledge of HTML and your platform allows editing the HTML code.

Note: Additional coding skills might be necessary when planning a Dynamic Integration.

  • You can add the widget to the pages you select using an HTML tag snippet you create using ArtPlacer’s widget generator.

  • Depending on your website’s characteristics or theme, using HTML as a widget configuration method might not be compatible with your website.
