How To Navigate a Virtual Exhibition

Move Through the Exhibition

ArtPlacer’s Virtual Exhibitions are designed to feel intuitive and immersive. Here’s everything visitors need to know to navigate, explore artworks, and access extra resources.

You can also rotate your view using the mouse. Click on the screen and drag the cursor to turn to the left or to the right.



Resources for Visitors

At the top right corner of the screen, you’ll find the exhibition’s menu. From here, you can:

  • Browse Artworks: Open the full list of artworks on display.

  • Learn about the exhibition: Read the exhibition description.

  • Take a screenshot: Capture a moment to save or share.



  • Access brochures: Download additional resources (if available). 

  • Return to the starting point: Instantly go back to the entrance.

  • Change language: Select your preferred exhibition language.

  • Enter/exit full screen: Enjoy a distraction-free view.

  • Open the navigation guide: Quick help if you’re unsure where to go.


Exploring the Artworks

There are two main ways to engage directly with the Artworks:

Navigating to Artworks

  • Open the Artworks list in the menu and click the person icon to jump directly to a specific piece.



  • Or, simply click on an Artwork in the gallery.

  • To move between Artworks seamlessly, use the Prev and Next buttons at the bottom left of the screen.



Viewing Artwork Information

Click Learn More or select the Artwork from the gallery to open its info popup. From here, visitors can:

  • Inquire: Contact the gallery directly about the artwork.

  • Buy / View More (if available): Follow a link to the gallery’s third-party sales page.

  • View in AR (if available): Use augmented reality to see how the artwork looks in your own space with your device’s camera.

  • View Artwork's Information.
