How to Adjust the Lighting, Size, and Position of an Artwork in a Space

You can perform additional adjustments to any space–whether it is a room mockup, personal space, design, or art fair booth–to better integrate the artwork into the room.

Adjust the Lighting of an Artwork

  1. Select the artwork whose lighting you want to adjust. To adjust the lighting of multiple artworks simultaneously, select artworks while holding Shift. 

  2. Click LIGHTING.

  3. Select CENTER SHADOWLEFT SHADOW, or RIGHT SHADOW to configure the direction of the artwork’s shadow. Select NO SHADOW to eliminate shadows. 

  4. Adjust the shadow’s spread and opacity using the sliders or the fields above them.

Note: To adjust shadows more accurately, check if there is a window, a lamp, or any other source of light that would project a shadow and match that direction.

  1. Adjust the artwork’s brightness and contrast using the sliders or the fields above them.

Note: To adjust brightness accurately, make sure the artwork receives the same amount of light as the other objects in the space. As for contrast, make sure the colors in the artwork are not distorted compared to those in the room.

  1. Click Reset Filters to reset the artwork’s lightning to its original aspect.

Adjust the Size of an Artwork

  1. Select the artwork whose size you want to adjust. 

  2. Click SIZE.

  3. Type the artwork's height (H) and width (W) in the corresponding fields. Click the reset icon to return the artwork to its original size.


Adjust the Position of an Artwork

To align artworks with the wall:

  1. Select the artwork whose position you want to adjust. 

  2. Click POSITION.

  3. Select a position from the available options to align the artwork to the wall.

  4. Click Rotate to rotate the artwork 90 degrees.


If you select three artworks or more, you can align the artworks with each other and space them evenly.

To align artworks with other artworks:

  1. Select the artworks you want to align while holding Shift. 

  2. Click POSITION.

  3. Select a position from the available options to space the artworks evenly.


- Remember you can UNDO your last steps by using CTRL+Z (in Windows) / COMMAND+Z (in IOS) or clicking this icon  on the bottom left corner of the page.

- You can also ZOOM on a room mockup by clicking this icon  on the bottom left corner of the page.
