How to Edit Frames

[For desktop users:]

You can edit frames to modify their width, material, texture, and more. 

Edit a Frame From the Frames Section

  1. Open the Frames section and locate the frame you want to edit.

  2. Hover over the frame and click the edit icon.

  3. On the Frame Builder page, edit the frame.

Note: The modifications you make to a frame are permanent. You can’t restore the original configuration of the frame after saving the changes.

Edit an Artwork’s Frame From a Space

While placing an artwork in a room mockup, personal space, or art fair booth, you can edit a frame after dragging and dropping the artwork in the space. You can also edit a frame while editing a saved setup. 

  1. Select the artwork whose frame you want to modify and click Frames at the bottom of the page.

  2. Hover over the frame and click the edit icon. 

  3. On the Frame Builder page, edit the frame.

  4. When you finish editing, click SAVE to modify the existing frame or SAVE AS to create a new frame. 

You can find the frames you save as new frames in the Frames section. 

These are the features you can modify when editing a frame:

  • Frame width: Use the selector to modify the frame width.

  • Material: Select a material from the dropdown. Depending on the material you select, textures and color options become available.

  • Floating Frame: Enable or disable the toggle to add or remove the floating effect in a frame. Once enabled, use the selector that appears to configure the width of the gap.

  • Mat: Enable or disable the toggle to add or remove a mat. Once enabled, configure the mat’s width, type, and color. 

  • Name: Modify the name of the frame by typing in the box.

  1. Tap the artwork whose frame you want to modify and then Frames at the bottom of the screen. 


  1. Tap the edit icon on the frame’s thumbnail. 


  1. On the Frame Builder page, edit the frame.


  1. When you finish editing, tap SAVE to modify the existing frame or SAVE AS to create a new frame. 


You can find the frames you save as new frames in the Frames section.
