Can I Use ArtPlacer to Sell An Artwork?

Modified on Thu, 19 Oct 2023 at 10:42 AM

Artworks can include links to third-party sites where buyers can purchase either the piece or a non-fungible token (NFT) of the piece.

At the moment, making purchases directly from ArtPlacer’s site is not available. However, we're continuously evaluating ways to enhance our services, and this option might become available in the future.

To add links to third-party purchase sites from your computer:

  1. Open the Artworks section from the home dashboard or the top header.

  2. Hover an artwork and click Edit.

  3. Open the Additional Information tab.

  4. Paste your links in Purchase URL and/or NFT URL.

  5. Click SAVE ARTWORK.

If you are logged in from your mobile browser:

  1. Open the Artworks section from the home dashboard or the menu on the top header.

  2. Tap on an artwork and tap Edit or tap on the artwork again.

  3. Open the Additional Information tab.

  4. Paste your links in Purchase URL and/or NFT URL.

  5. Tap SAVE ARTWORK.

You can also add a price to your artworks for potential buyers to know the price without the need to access another site. Prices are displayed in USD by default. To change the currency of your artworks’ prices from your computer:

  1. On the top header, click your username > SETTINGS.

  2. In Currency, select your currency of choice.

  3. Click SAVE SETTINGS.

If you are logged in from your mobile browser:

  1. On the top header, tap the profile icon > SETTINGS.

  2. In Currency, select your currency of choice.

  3. Tap SAVE SETTINGS.

Optionally, open an artwork’s edit page and click or tap Modify above the price field to be redirected to the settings page. Once there, follow the same steps.
