Artworks are the digital representations of the pieces you want to showcase using ArtPlacer. Uploading your artworks is the first step to unlock all of the platform’s features.
With your uploaded Artworks, you’ll be able to:
- Create Room Mockups to visualize how your art looks in different interiors.
- Build Virtual Exhibitions that visitors can explore online.
- Use the Art Show Planner to organize your fair or show setup.
- Curate your own Online Portfolio to present your work in a professional, cohesive way.
- Design stunning Presentations tailored to specific audiences.
- Customize your Personal Space to preview your art directly in your client’s room.
Without uploading your Artworks, you won’t be able to start using these features, so make this your first step!
You can upload different types of artworks:
2D Artwork: Represents physical pieces such as drawings, paintings, prints, and photographs. 2D artworks can include information about the pieces’ dimensions and the materials used.
Video: Represents video pieces. Video artworks can include a public link to the video in Youtube or Vimeo, and information about the display size and the medium used to capture the video (digital, film, or other).
Sculpture: Represents sculptures. Sculpture Artworks can include information about the medium used to create the piece (3D print, hand sculpting, or other), the materials used, and the pieces’ dimensions.
Digital Art: Represents pieces in digital form. Digital Artworks can include information about the pieces’ display size and the medium used (design, photography, or other).
All Artworks can include information relevant to your clients, such as:
An image that visually represents the piece
The title
The artist who created it
The year in which it was created
A price
A description of 1000 characters or less
The materials and techniques used to create the piece
The primary color palette used
The orientation (portrait or landscape)
You can also add tags to Artworks to indicate that the piece is part of a collection. Later, you can use collections to filter artworks in the Artworks section.
Additionally, your Artworks can include URLs:
To a third-party site where art enthusiasts can purchase the piece
To a site where potential buyers can view more information
To a site where buyers can purchase a non-fungible token (NFT).
Artworks can be public (which means other users can see them on your creations). You can change an Artwork’s privacy at any time.
All the information you include about Artworks can help you find them more easily when browsing the Artworks section.
