Modified on Fri, Sep 5 at 7:12 PM

Once you’ve uploaded an Artwork, you can update not only the image but also all its details. Editing Artworks helps keep your catalog organized, accurate, and attractive for potential buyers and viewers.

Table of Contents

1. Access the Artworks Section.

  • Go to the Artworks section in your account.
  • Hover over the Artwork you want to edit and click the pencil icon to open the edit page

.

2. Edit the Artwork Image

On the edit page, hover over the Artwork image and click Crop to open the editing options:

  • Crop: Drag the handles on the corners or sides to adjust the visible area.

  • Lock Aspect Ratio: Keep the image’s proportions while cropping.

  • Rotate 90°: Rotate the image in 90-degree increments.

  • Reset: Discard all cropping or rotation changes.

  • Click CONFIRM to apply your edits or CANCEL to discard them.

3. Update Artwork Information

In addition to editing the image, you can update the following fields on the same page:

  • Artwork type: Choose between 2D Artwork, Video, Sculpture, or Digital Art.
  • Basic details: Add or edit the title, artist’s name, creation year, selling price (in your chosen currency), and medium.

  • Video link: For video artworks, paste a link from YouTube or Vimeo.

  • Size:
    • For videos and digital art → enter an approximate display size.

    • For 2D Artworks and sculptures → enter the actual dimensions in inches or centimeters.

    • Only the height is required. The system automatically calculates the width from the image’s aspect ratio.

Required fields: Title, image, height, and (for videos) the video URL must be filled in. Leaving them empty will block access to the Additional Information tab.

4. Add Additional Information

Click the Additional Information tab to include more details:

  • Description.

  • Materials: Specify what materials or techniques were used. Options vary depending on the Artwork type.

  • Tags/Collections: Add the Artwork to an existing collection or create a new one.

  • Privacy: Choose whether the Artwork is public or private.

  • External links: Add links to a purchase site, NFT marketplace, artist’s page, or gallery site.

  • Orientation: Mark the piece as portrait or landscape.
  • Primary colors: Select the dominant colors in the artwork. These help organize your Portfolio and make your pieces easier to find when using color filters.

5. Save Your Changes

When you’re done:

  • Click SAVE ARTWORK to update the artwork.
  • Or click CANCEL to discard your changes.

Keeping your Artwork details complete makes your Portfolio more professional, helps buyers make informed decisions, and improves how your works are presented in Room Mockups, Virtual Exhibitions, and Widgets.
